Mangalore, Mar 1: Student union leaders from various colleges in the city urged the public to support the bandh called opposing Government decision to lay the foundation stone for the Netravathi Diversion Project or Yettinahole Project on March 3, Monday.
The student leaders on March 1, Saturday were seen in many places of the city holding placards against the controversial projects and its ill effects of the projects for the people of Dakshina Kannada.
As per the call given by Karavali Jeevanadi Netravathi Rakshana Samithi and various like-minded organizations and All College Students Union the district will observe Dark Day as a part of bandh.
