Karkala; Feb 26: In the over-arm cricket tournament at twin districts level organized in Salmara Sports Club’s local Swarajya Maidan, Konkan Express, Koteshwara emerged victorious and received winning Trophy and cash prize of Rs 11, 555, followed by Udupi Friends received runners-up Trophy and cash prize of Rs 8,555.
Udupi Friend’s Dr.Vinod, man of the series, Koteshwar’s Sandeep best bowler Oorva cricketer’s Gurudatta, best batsman and they were honored.
Entrepreneur Subhash Kamath, who chaired the function, distributed the prizes to the winners. Guests like Bola Nagaraja Kamath, K.Nagesh Prabhu, Ravidas Kudva, Kalkar Ramanath Nayak have congratulated the winners.
Club president Bola Trivikram Kamath, convener Bola Vignesh Kamath, R.K.Radhakrishna, Bola Prashanth Kamath was present on the occasion.
