Mangalore, Feb 24: In a mysterious circumstance, a body of women was found at Padu Panambur near Haleyangady on February 24, Monday.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be known, but the police have found a mangalsutra around her neck and aged between 30-32 years.
According to the locals, the deceased was not a local and there were injuries on her face, making a way for suspected murder.
According to the police, a woman was murdered somewhere else and dumped at Padu Panambur.
City police commissioner R Hitendra along with ACP, DCP and others officials rushed to the spot. A canine squad was pressed into action.
Mulky police have registered a case and investigations are on.
