Udupi; Feb 24: Based on the recommendation of Pramodh Madhwaraj, Udupi legislator, the sum of Rs 25 lac grant has been released for the renovation of temples coming under the jurisdiction of Udupi vidhana Sabha constituency, he said in the press release.
The ministers, who have co-operated in getting this grant approved like Muzrahi minister Prakash Hukkeri,Union minister Oscar Fernandez,Udupi district in charge and urban development minister Vinaya Kumar Sorake and MP K.Jayaprakash were complimented.
Grants are as follows:-
Jaya Durga Parameshwari temple,Kanarpady Rs 5 lac,Veereshwara temple,Pademata,Kenjur Rs 5 lac,Ellampalli Vishnumurthy temple Rs 5lac,Babbu Swamy and Parivar Daiva’s temple,Belkale,Tenka Nidiyur,Kelarkalabettu Rs 5 lac,Handady Babbuswamy temple,Belur,Brahmavar Rs 2.50 lac, Babbuswamy temple ®Devarabettu,Palekattu,Kodavur Rs 2.50 lac, Babbuswamy temple,Tenkubirthi,Varamballi Brahmavar Rs 2 lac grant has been released, said in the press release of the legislators office.
