Vittal, Feb 24: In connection to the suicide of young women from Kanyana, the Vittal police arrested husband on Feb 23, Sunday.
It is learnt that Savitha (27), daughter of Uggappa Gowda of Moodigere who was married to Sunil of Kanichchar in Kanyana eight months ago had hung herself.
The police took action against Sunil, based on the complaint filed by Savitha’s father Uggappa Gowda, for reportedly giving physical and mental torture to Savitha.
Investigations are on.
