Tekkatte; Feb 22: Maranakatte Shree Brahmalingeshwara Yakshagana Chorus’s veteran theatre artist Airabail Ananda Shetty was felicitated in Kedur tenkabettu Haguli and Kallukuttiga temple’s Tenkubettu Narasimha Kulal’s benediction open ground Yakshagana programme recently.
After receiving the honor Airabail Ananda Shetty said in his speech that only when arts get the support, encouragement, there is no doubt that it will create a special meaning for the survival of the artists. In this regard, for the survival of our culture’s reflection Yakshagana, it is inevitable to put maximum efforts by each and every individual, he opined.
Kerur village panchayat president Sharat Kumar Hegde has presided over the function.
