Udupi; Feb 22: Under the sponsorship of district Kannada and cultural department, a ‘Gamaka Vaachana’ (the art of fitting stanzas or verses to the right tunes and reciting them effectively) by senior writer Anshumaya was held in Rajeev Nagar’s government high school recently.
‘Gamaka Vaachana”was rendered melodiously by Anshumala from the story Yaksha Prashne of Kumaravyasa Bharata’s Aranya Parva. Scholar Nagesh Rao, Barkur has significantly interpretated it.
In the ceremony, chief guests like Udupi Nadavaibhavam’s founder music legend Udupi Vasudev Bhatt, Suhasam’s Secretary Ku.Go. by being arrived, blessed the function for the grand success.
