Udupi; Feb 18: Addressing the ‘Unity Rally’ organized by Popular Front of India (PFI) to commemorate PFI ‘Formation Day’ on Feb 17, Monday in Udupi Kalsanka’s Royal Garden Maidan.K.M.Sharief, National president of PFI said in his address that our main three future objectives are to fight against fascism, poverty and to bring power in the hands of country’s many minority and other backward community people. ‘People’s battle’ is the only alternative, to find solution for all these, he said.

He further said that today power is only confined to upper class people. In the country around 80% of the minority community people, Dalits and OBC people have been deprived of their opportunities. He warned against letting ‘fascist’ forces come to power.”Fascism is more dangerous than communalism. If fascist forces come to power, Muslims, Christians, Dalits and other backward classes will be deprived of opportunities, he said. Therefore it is inevitable, country’s Shudras, minority community people and other backward community people including Dalits should unite together to fight against democracy’s anti-people’s policy.
