Kundapur; Feb 16: After inaugurating the Kota bloc jurisdiction congress party worker’s convention and pre-election meet held on behalf of Kota bloc congress, Bayndoor legislator Gopala Bhandary said in his address that Congress was the party which gave power to the backward community people. Apart from making Dharmasingh, Bangarappa, Arasu and Veerappa Moily chief ministers of the state, Congress was the party which brought other backward community people into main stream of the society, he said
