Udupi; Feb 10: After inaugurating the Bharat Nirman awareness Aandholan’s exhibition in Brahmavar’s SMS community Bhavan held under the aegis of Information department, union government’s information and broadcasting’s different media units, Udupi district administration and district panchayat,Vinaya Kumar Sorake,minister for urban development and district in charge said in his address that in India youths are more in numbers. It is the responsibility of everybody to lead the youths on the right track. With this, it is possible to build strong India, he said.
Though many programmes are being implemented through state and central government for the benefit of ordinary citizens, in order to give proper awareness, these types of movements are useful. By opening 30 stores of different departments, people are being informed about the government’s programmes.
Inaugurating the movement, K.Jayaprakash Hegde, MP said in his speech that steps, measures to be taken in village panchayat only, to give proper information about state and central government’s programmes and authorities should develop more contacts with the people, he said.
Pramodh Madhwaraj, legislator presided over the function.
In the programme,Indian Government’s information department’s director Vasudha Gupta,Bangalore’s additional director S.Venkateshwar,taluk panchayat president Gowri Poojarthi,CMC president Yuvaraj,Disstrict commissioner Dr.M.T.Reju,Kanagavalli,CEO,district panchayat’s vice president Pranesh Rao,SMS educational institution’s convener Vam.Devid Crasta and among others were present.
Udupi’s additional deputy commissioner Kumar welcomed, Bangalore constituency’s publicity centre’s director Nagendra Swami delivered an introductory speech.Shreenivasa hosted the programme.
