Mangalore, Feb 10: After a week’s tension, Ullal area returns to normalcy without witnessing any annoying incident on February 9, Sunday.
Although the shops and business establishments were open as usual on Sunday, they closed down the shops early in the evening, since police officials have not lifted the prohibitory orders clamped under Section 144.
On Saturday, few miscreants had stoned the car belonging to BJP leader Chandrashekhar Uchila, in turn the car belonging to Saleem Ullal, the Vice President of the District Congress Minorities wing was also stoned. In this connection, Police have arrested one person.
