CCB nab two drug peddlers near Central Market area

Mangalore, Feb 10: CCB police on February 9 Sunday arrested two drug peddlers near the Roopavani theatre located near Central Market and seized three kg of ganja worth Rs 50,000.

The arrested are identified as Venkatesh (33) from Shivanagar, Moodushedde and Bablu alias Bablu Kahrji (33) from Odisha.

During the Interrogation it is revealed that the duo used to get ganja from Odisha and sell them in Mangalore at the rate of Rs 100 per 5 gram, targeting students.

CCB Inspector Valentine  D’Souza and Taluk Magistrate Dr Prashanth conducted the operation under  the direction of the Police Commissioner R  Hithendra and DCP Dr KV Jagadish.
