Udupi; Feb 03: Udupi taluk Kudi village’s Prof.Ramachandra Achar was conferred ‘Bharatha Gaurava ‘award during Global Friendship Day celebration held on behalf of India International Friendship Society in New Delhi as a part of India tourism.
After considering Prof.Ramachandra’ Achar’s research and in the wake of his more contribution towards maintaining relationship between India and Canada, this award was being awarded to him.
Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Rajeev Shukla, former Governor of Tamil Nadu Bheeshma Narayan Singh and Mauritius former vice president R.Bhunho were present on the occasion.
