Hiriyadka; Feb 02: Favoring Hiriyadka region’s development, Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge has launched variety development programmes.
After launching the foundation stone for around one crore budget’s Hiriyadka first grade college’s first floor construction and Rs 4,32 crore budget’s Hiriyadka-Perdur roads favor finish programme,minister said in his speech that these variety programmes have been evolved for the convenience of students of this regions limit. He added that Rs 60 lac has been released under M.S.Programme for the construction of 6 buildings including Akshara Dasoha building in Hiriyadka P.U.College.
He further said that proposal has been submitted for the construction of office in Hiriyadka. In this region, 7000 eligible APL ration card holders have been given BPL ration cards and through pension Adalat 1000 people were given pensions. Around one crore rupees investment different community Bhavans are being built. Like this many more programs have been evolved for the comprehensive development of this region, he said. Rs 5 crore has been sanctioned from CRF fund for Hiriyadka-Karkala Road’s favor finish work and by inviting tender, work will be started soon, he said.
He further said that this year approval has been obtained for Rs 20 crore for the development programmes of Kaup including Hiriyadka region.
Upendra Nayak, udupi district panchayat president, Udupi taluk panchayat vice president Rama Kulal, district panchayat member Gopi Naike, taluk panchayat member Savita Nayak, Satyanand Nayak, Bommarabettu village panchayat president Suresh Nayak, Kodibettu village panchayat president Sandhya Shetty were present.
