Udupi; Jan 31: Addressing the ‘Gandhi Smati’ programme organized under the auspices of Udupi Karnataka Komu Souhardha Vedhike, car street friends and MGM College on Jan 30, Thursday in college’s new Ravindra Mantap, G.Rajashekar, Udupi district president of Karnataka Komu Souhardha Vedhike said in his address that payment of Rs 55 crore to Pakistan as per the separation agreement, was not the only reason for his assassination, a planned political conspiracy was also hidden behind it.The Implementation of the political agenda was the main reason for this muder,he said.
The main purpose of Gandhi’s last Satyagraha in 1948, Jan 13 was to prevent inhumane victimization and torture of innocent Muslims, to stop flushing out Muslims from Delhi, to return forcibly converted Muslim masjid into temples and Gurudhwaras and to stop economic embargo applied on Delhi Muslims. Like this, Gandhi had ordained five conditions.
Along with this, his 6th condition was to give money to Pakistan. But it is being reflected, projected that Gandhi’s last Satyagraha was only to give money to Pakistan. The point of his last Satyagraha was to provide justice to the affected people of oppression in Delhi was given up. Today nobody is there to conduct Satyagraha in Gujarat, similar to the one conducted by Gandhi then, he opined.
Prof.M.Prasad Rao, assistant professor of Tenkanidiyur Government College spoke on the occasion in his capacity as chief guest. Dr.N.Hala Naika, principal of the college has presided over the function.Shrikumar of Saangatya institution spoke about Gandhi’s spinning wheel movement.
