Karkala; Jan 25: A case of theft of computers along with electronic instruments and gas cylinders worth Rs 82 thousand was reported on Jan 24, Friday late night in Mundkur village’s Posral aided higher primary school by breaking the lock of the room.
According to the sources, School’s fridge, 2 computers, TV, DVD players and two gas cylinders worth Rs 82 thousand have been stolen by the thieves.
A case has been registered in Karkala rural police station by Smt.Jyothi, headmistress of the school.
At the same time, around Rs 5 thousand worth gas cylinders and stove have also been stolen from the nearby Angawadi, sources said.
