Aasare Charitable Trust to organize ‘Viva Beach Utsav’ for Endosulfan victims

Mangalore, Jan 23: Aasare Charitable Trust jointly with Panambur Beach Tourism will host a ‘Viva Beach Utsav’ at Panambur Beach on January 26, Sunday at 3 pm, said Dr. Asha Jyoti Rai, president of the trust.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Jan 23, Thursday, she said that the fest is being organized with the intention to create awareness among the city people about the problems faced by the endosulfan victims.

She also said that the amount collected from the programme will used for the welfare of endosulfan victims.

The Beach Utsav will include the kite show, food festival, sand art, music and dance programmes and entry is open to all.

Minister for youth affairs, sports and fisheries Abhayachandra Jai, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Moideen Bava, former minister Murugesh Nirani, , ZP CEO Tulasi Maddineni, Mokshayuga Access India MD Harsha Moily, Vijayanath Vittal Shetty, Nach Baliye reality show fame Ravi Dubey along with many film stars and other personalities are expected to participate in the event.

Vice president of the trust Gopalkrishna Shetty, Secretary Diwakar Samani, Nivedita N. Shetty and Sulata J. Shetty were present at the press meet.
