Udupi; Jan 18: ‘Tendulkartoons’ cartoon exhibition will be held on Jan 19, Sunday morning at 9.30 am in Udupi Ambagilu Gerebare Chitrakala training centre. In order to commemorate the completion of 9 years of this Sanghatane, this exhibition programme has been organized. In this cartoon exhibition, India’s best cricket player Sachin Tendulkar has been shown by different cartoonists through different cartoons.
Sachin Tendulkar was loved by all seniors and juniors. In the wake of his Bharat Ratna and his retirement, this cartoon exhibition programme was organized. During the occasion, the cartoonists found collection of cartoons will be released.
The prizes will be presented to the winners of recently held Madarangi and Tatoo writing competition’ in Varna sparsha’workshop.Along with these, children’s annual art of painting exhibition will also be held. This exhibition will be kept open for the public view from Jan 19 to Jan 26 from morning 9.00 am to 6.00 pm in the evening, it said
The cricket cartoons expert free lance cartoonist Satish Acharya will inaugurate the exhibition. Journalist Premananda Kamath,cricket expert commentator Vinay Udhyavar and Kalangan institutions Madhava Gaonskar will participitate as chief guests.Centres Trustee Vishwanatha Acharya will preside over the function.
