Udupi;Jan 15: After inaugurating the ‘exhibition and selling fair’ organized on Jan 15,Wednesday in front of Bhandarkeri Math in car street on behalf of district women and children’s welfare department by benefactors of Udhyogini Aasare programe,members of Sthree Shakti-Swa Sahaya sanghas and produce prepared by Mahila Industries, Smt.Gowri Poojarthi,President of Udupi taluk panchayat said in her address that for members of Sthree Shakti and Swa-Sahaya group more financial aid is necessary from the government and suitable prices should be provided in the market for the produce, they have prepared. She also called for availing the Sthree Shakti and Swa-Sahaya’s existing benefits of government programmes
On the auspicious occasion of Kaaniyoor Math’s Paryaya, this organized exhibition and sale fair will run up to Jan 18 starting from today.
Presiding over the programme, legislator Pramodh Madhwaraj said that he will try to reach the benefits of government programmes to the eligible beneficiaries in his constituency.
Niranjana Bhat,district women and children welfare department’s handicapped strengthening officer and district’s child welfare planning officer Sadananda Nayak were present.Department’s founder Veena welcomed the guests.
