Mangalore, Jan 15: Sharavu Raghavendra Shastri, trustee, Sri Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple flagged off the ‘Go Mata Ratha Yatra’ organized by Govanithashraya Trust on January 14, Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that conducting the Go Mata Ratha Yatra to create awareness on the importance and use of cow is commendable. It is the duty of each Hindus to preserve and protect our holy cows.
The Rath Yatra traverse through Venktaramana Temple, Kalikamba Vinayaka Temple, Alake Nagabrahma Temple, Kudroli, Mannagudda and culminate at Sri Marigudi Temple.
Dr.P.Ananthakrishna Bhat, secretary of the trust, Dr.Ananthalakshmi Bhat, treasurer, Sridhar Bhat,Manohar Tulajaram, treasurers were present.
