Perne Tragedy: No aid to who lost livelihood?; grumbles garage owner

Puttur, April 14: Chandrashekar, owner of Sharavu Auto works, who had been miraculously survived from the jaws of death in the gas tanker tragedy, occurred on April 9, Tuesday has his own sobbing story to narrate.

Although compensation of Rs.1 lakh to the next to the kin of the tragedy victims and Rs.50000/- to injured persons had been declared, man who lost his garage, which gutted  completely in the towering inferno of the  gas tanker tragedy ,has not been considered for any kind of aid from the concerned authorities.

Garage was the only source of our income, where whole family members were dependent for their livelihoo but the fire which caused due to the gas tanker tragedy burnt completely within no time, as a result, he was succumb to loss of Rs.8 lakh worth goods, which include two wheelers (bike) kept in the garage premise for repair.

He was luckily survived as his wife forced him to take her home in his bike from the premise of garage.

Chandrasekhar narrates his pain in chocked voice, when all the family members of the deceased and injured were given compensation, why I am only left out who lost garage? this is like a rubbing salt on the injury.

He is still hoping for some other association definitely will realize my real ordeal and come to my aid, he says.
