Udupi; Jan 09: “Hasiru Horakanike’ started coming from different parts of the district for the Kaaniyur Maths Sree Vidhyavallabha Tirtha Swahili’s Paryaya, which will be held on January 18th morning.
On Jan 09, Thursday, people of Doddannagudde, Permpally, Karambally and citizens of Chakratirtha brought ‘Hasiru Horakanike’from Jumadikatte and passed through Kalsanka, city bus stand road, reached the Math and handed over the Hasiruhorakanike in Math.
On Jan 09th, Thursday’s Horakanike contained around 10 quintals of rice, 1000 coconuts, Jaggery, various types of vegetables, banana and among other materials were there.
On Jan 08, Wednesday was the first day of Horakanike and on behalf of Udupi Harekrishna Prachar Kendra, Horakanike was offered. According to Eshwara Chitpady of Paryaya Horekanike samiti, on Jan 10th, Friday, members of Yuva Brahmin Parishat will make a delivery of Horakaanike from Govinda Kalyana Mantap.
Kaaniyur Sree Vidhyavallabha Tirtha Swamiji has inaugurated the store house built near Rajangana parking area to store Horakanike coming from different parts of the district.
