Kundapur; Jan 09: An incident of sudden fire catch was reported in an open space near Kageri Shantidham Gurukul in Koteshwara’s Halady road, resulting acres of land completely gutted in the fire.
Fire extinguishing operation was carried out by locals and fire brigade personnel. Luckily nothing was happened to nearby school and cashew plantation. However it was reported that some trees and two water plastic pipes have been gutted prior to the start of fire extinguishing operation.
