Kundapur; Jan 09: A case of infant’s death inside the stomach of unmarried minor girl prior to the admission of hospital was reported in Kundapur.
According to the sources, Kusumanjali (name changed), resident of Mehadeenagara in Bapuji Nagara of Shimoga district, was the pregnant girl.
One week ago, a young lady came to Kundapur’s rehabilitation centre through Shimoga child line. Though, it was understood that she was pregnant, because of her different statement in different time, which created a confusion to find out solution. Once she says, a man called Karthik had developed a physical contact, and other time, she was telling, he was her husband and some other time she says, she does not know anything. These unstable statements put the people concerned under great confusion.
Now doctor has confirmed that child is dead inside the stomach. Only through suitable treatment, dead body of the child has to be taken out, it told.
