Karkala; Jan 03: A case of assault on wife was reported on Jan 02, Thursday in Heradarikatte in Shirlalu village of Karkala taluk.
It was told that Shirlal’s Ganesh Acharya, was married to Radhika four years ago. Wife Radhika alleged that her husband Ganesh used to torture her physically as well as mentally after few days of their marriage. It was on Jan 02, Thursday, he not only abused Radhika with filthy languages and assaulted but also attacked her mother-in-law, who came in between us to protect her.
A case was registered by Radhika in Ajekar police station in this regard.
