Karkala;Dec 29 : While delivering the religious lecture in Hebri regional Devadiga’s conference held on Dec 29,Sunday,Hebri Haridas B.C.Rao Shivpur said that only education is not suffice for the youths, along with education, by preserving our culture,heritage,culture of foster also to be taught. Under the guidance of seniors in the society, by carrying out these services uninterruptedly, the people who are engaged themselves in the service of God, Devadiga’s conference is the role model for all other religions, he said.
In the conference, which was held under the presidentship of Udupi Devadigara Sangha’s president Ganesh, Hebri, Chaara, Mudrady, Varanga, Shivapura, Kabbinaale and Naadpaali community kinsfolks were participated. In the beginning of the conference, Saamoohika Satyanarayana Vrithacharane under the leadership of Beppne Shreenivas Baayary and Hebri Nagaraja Joice, distribution of scholarship to talented students were held.
In the conference Karkala tahsildar Babu Devadiga, Karkala Sangha president Laxminarayana Devadiga, PDO Purandara S, Shankar Devadiga, Soorya Devadiga, Pommi Serigarthi, Sadhu Serigara, Narasimha Devadiga, President Govinda Devadiga, Mahila wing’s president Shankari Devadiga and Kusuma among others were present.
