Kundapur: Residents of Kumbhashi accused in murder case 9 months ago arrested & imprisoned by the court

Kundapur; Dec 18: Kundapur police by cracking the sensational and mysterious murder case which occurred in Kumbhashi 9 months ago, arrested Susheela and her son-in-law Prashanth, a resident of Koraga colony, accused in mysterious murder case and produced before the court. The court imposed a 15-day judicial custody on them.

Kundapur DYSP C.B.Patil and circle inspector P.M.Divakar and sub-inspector Jayaram.D.Gowda, who took the task of investigation, could succeed in cracking the sensational and mysterious murder case of Ganesh Mogaveera, 37 years of age, on April 24th this year, occurred on the way in between Kumbhashi NH 66 and Koraga colony, near bush.

The case was filed as suspected one. However natives openly expressed doubts that it was murder. Injury marks on the body of deceased Ganesh clearly showed an indication of murder.

Besides the post-mortem examination conducted by KMC hospital also confirmed in its report that it was a case of an attack.

When the intensive investigation was conducted by the police investigation team it was revealed that the deceased Ganesh used to come to one of the houses in the Koraga colony frequently and used to torture and harass them under the influence of liquor. That was the reason,Susheela and her son-in-law attacked him with deadly weapons, when Ganesh was in inebriated condition.Ganesh,by escaping from there in half dead condition, fell near the bush and breathed his last there, it was reported.
