Udupi; Dec 16: Participating in the ‘felicitation and achievement award’ ceremony organized by state forest guardians and spectators and spectators sangha, Kundapur unit and Kuduremukha wildlife division in Kidiyoor hotel’s Sheshashayana hall on Dec 15, Sunday, Satish Baba Rai, Kundapur division assistant forest conservative officer said in his address that the will and knowledge of law is necessary for the forest conservation.
The function was inaugurated by Kundapur division assistant forest conservative officer R.Ravishankar and the function was presided over by H.Devaraja Pana, district president of the association and Sangha’s new diary was released on the occasion.
Retired forest guard Mohan Devadiga,Robert Costa, reptiles lover Harish Kagumar,native physician Shreenivas Poojary,promoted forest guards and spectators have been felicitated. The Prathibha Puraskar has been distributed to children of forest guards and spectators.
Chief guests like state government worker’s union’s district president Subramanya Sheregar,national award winner Kudhi Vasantha Shetty,State forest conservator-spectator Sangha’s general secretary Yellappa Vadda,Sangha’s honorary advisor Yogeshwar and Sridhar were present.
V.Manju, honorary president of Sangha delivered an introductory speech, Ganapathi Nayak, general secretary welcomed audience. Thereafter variety cultural entertainment programmes were held.
