Mangalore, Dec. 13: The installation ceremony of D.K. district BJP backward classes morcha held on December 12, Thursday.
The district chief secretaries Sanjeeva Matanduru and Shailaja K.T. Bhat inaugurate the programme.
The designated president lawyer Mohanraj K.R. announced the name of the new officer bearers. Mannagudda Venkatesh Achar and Hariprasad elected as the chief secretary, Suchethan G. Kavooru, Dayanand Panjigaru, Nityananda Navara and Tejpal Amin Ullal as vice presidents. Beluvayi Bhaskara Acharya, Shekhar G. Kottary Goltamajalu, Arun Vitla, Prasad Kumar M Shibrikere and Somnath K.V. Kukkedi as secretary, Anildas Kapikad as Treasurer. Now in the committee 18 members were there.
Capt. Ganesh Karnik, the secretary of BJP organizing committee Prasad Kumar, district organizing chief secretary Jesta Padiwal, K.R. Mohan Raj, Hariprasad Yadav, Venkatesh Achar were present.
