Udupi; Dec 11: In the backdrop of losing, the Malpe tourist’s boats tender bid from the hands, Yuva congress president Yatish Karkera and his 12 member team, not only threatened owner of the tourist boats but also assaulted an employee.
This incident took place on Dec 10, Tuesday near Nittooru and the case was registered in Udupi city police station.
Vishwanatha, the owner of the boats was brutally attacked with swords, cudgel by the group, resulting serious injuries on him. The injured victim of the attack Vishwanatha was admitted in Ajjarekadu government district hospital.
If accused Yathish Karkera is not arrested, a fierce protest will be staged, warned staff of the boat
