Mangalore, Dec. 10: The MESCOM Vigilance Squad had raided the KMC dental College on December 9, Monday following a complaint from a social activist who had alleged that the College was using an illegal connection through KMC said Vigilance Squad Superintendent of Police Harishchandra P.
He was addressing the press meet regarding with the complaint system against the illegal power supply and miss using of power.
He further said that the raiding team with the initiation of Vigilance Squad Superintendent of Police Harishchandra P, and Seema M R the assistant engineer with the officials from Shimoga, Udupi and Chikmagalur were at the College all through the day on Monday and realised that the college was using more power than the quantity sanctioned to it. However, they found that the college was regular in paying its electricity bills. And they also charged 3.45 crore fines.
