Mangalore, Dec. 7: Corporation Bank distributed school bags to the students of Navajeevan Prathmik Vidyamandir, Kalasugandh Mandal, Thane. The school bags were distributed by Shri S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank on December 5, 2013.
Navajeevan Prathmik Vidyamandir is dedicated to imparting quality education to children from the slums in Thane. The school bags have been donated by the Bank as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility for the benefit of the school children.
Corporation Bank has been associating itself with several organizations that work for the welfare of the society, to fulfill its obligation as a responsible corporate citizen. The distribution of school bags to the school children is another novel example to its commitment to support the welfare activities. The Bank has been in the forefront in involving in issues concerning the welfare of the society and also in responding positively to the needs of the people, particularly the underprivileged section of the society as part of its corporate social responsibilities.
