Karkala; Dec 02: Wife of Kucchuru K.Shreenivas Rao, freedom fighter and active member of congress party Smt.Padmavati Amma, aged 95 left her heavenly abode on Dec 01, Sunday due to her brief illness.
She was actively participated in freedom struggle, was trying to strengthen the congress party organization and was engaged herself in various organizations. She was survived by four sons, who includes best teacher award winner K.Krishnamurthy Rao and five daughters.
Union petroleum minister Veerappa Moily, union transport minister Oscar Fernandez and MP Jayaprakash Hegde has expressed their condolences on the demise.
H.Gopala Bhandary,former MLA,Block congress president Neere Krishna Shetty,Kucchur village panchayat president Geetha Nayak,entrepreneur H.Bhaskar Joyce and among others have paid their last tribute.
