Mangalore, April 8:Prashanth alias Pachu,manager of Sri Adhinatheshwara Roadlines,Resident of Marakada,Kunjathabail,aged 30,son of Sundara has been brutally murdered by group of unknown assailants at midnight on April 7 at Valencia, Mangalore.
The accident was reported at 11.45 P.M near Mangala Bar.
It has been reported that a group consisting of 7-8 people came armed with sharp weapons attacked Prashanth mercilessly. His body was found a little away from his parked new brand car’Fortuner’.
The car was damaged with its window panes smashed and blood stains were also found inside the car.
It is believed that assailants might have first attacked Prashanth when he was inside the car and then Prashanth might have tried to escape and was chased and hacked to death a little away.
The car keys were lying near the body.
The attackers have fled the scene after committing the murder
The body was taken to Wenlock hospital for post-mortem
Padeshwar police rushed to the spot and registered a case. Probe is on.
