The freak accident happened on Sunday morning in Al Qusais, Dubai. The driver of the SUV put the vehicle into drive rather than reverse and hit the accelerator.
The accident happened at 9.30am. The motorist smashed into a wall. The little boy was sleeping in the room on the other side when the wall crashed down and he was seriously injured. The boy is in intensive care.
The motorist had parked his car outside the building and made a mistake with the gears as he tried to pull away.
He put his foot on the gas and wasn’t paying attention as the car leapt forward and smashed into the wall.
The driver and the family were Asian.
