Kundapur;Nov 21: State election commission has announced Dec 8, as the election date for Kundapur taluk’s Byndoor,Gangolli and Yedthare in Udupi district, where due date has got expired and election time table has also been released .
It also said that effective from Nov 20th till 28th Nov, nominations will be accepted from morning 11 am to 3 pm in the afternoon in all the respective gram panchayat offices. On Nov 29, from 11 am onwards in the morning, applications will be scrutinized and last date for withdrawal of nomination will be on Dec 02.
These all activities will be held in the respective grama panchayat by the election officers. An election will be held on Dec 8 and counting will begin on Dec 10 in taluk centres.Election code of conduct will be in force from Nov 20 to Dec 10 in all the panchayat jurisdictions as announced in Kundapur taluk office’s release by the tahsildar.
