Mangalore, Nov. 21: D.K Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School established on June 13, 1913 and now it is celebrating its centenary. The centenary programme will conduct on December 28 and 29 said the honorary president of Shatamanotsava Samiti Vishwanath Shetty.
He spoke at the press club on Wednesday Nov. 20. He further said that in this centenary year we planned to develop the school by providing computer lab, science lab, compound wall, proper toilet, English medium from next year. From all this development work it needs nearly Rs. 50 lac he said.
Regarding with centenary various cultural and sports competition will be held. And on December 28 and 29th the main programme will be held at Ullal Nursing Home Maidan. On these two days Shata Suma book releasing, cultural programmes, prize distribution, felicitating the teachers and two days also Tulu comedy drama will be there.
The head teacher of the school Joys Henriita, members of the committee Sathish Shetty Kodialbail, Yajnesh Barke and Rajesh Shetty were present.
