Mangalore, Nov 20: DySP Tilakchandra has been appointed as assistant commissioner of police (ACP) of Mangalore central subdivision.
At present DySP Tilakchandra, serving in the anti-narcotics cell of the city police. He has also served as inspector at the Pandeshwar police station. After promoting to the rank of dySP, Tilakchandra was deputed to the CID.
The post of ACP was vacant after ACP Kavita was transfereed to Mysore.
