Bantwal, Nov. 19: The Gas pipeline Santhrasta Horata Samiti is appealed to assistant commissioner against the project at Taluk office B.C. Road on Tuesday Nov. 19.
They questioned the HPCL manager Yuvaraj that already there was a leakage of petrol, diesel pipeline planted by HPCL in 28 places, if it continued what protection will you take? They asked.
If the pipeline was implemented at agricultural land the life of the people will be in trouble. So we do not allow this project to implement they argued.
Lawyers K. Ramesh Upadyaya, Suresh Shetty, Raghunath Payyade, Panjikallu Gram Panchayat member Chidananda, Balakrishna Shetty Pallippady, Devappa Poojary and other members of the samiti took part.
