Mangalor, Nov 19: In a bid to prevent knocking down of a pedestrian a bus crashed into the saloon at Pandith House near Thokkot on November 18 Monday.
The bus was moving towards Mangalore from Vittal when the mishap took place. The bus driver Narayana turned the bus to the extreme side of the road in a bid to prevent hitting the pedestrian. However, on seeing an electric pole he again turned the bus further more and the vehicle headed straight inside the saloon.
The saloon got damaged. There are no reports of any injuries in the mishap.
