Udupi; Nov 18: On behalf of Namo brigade, a complaint was registered on Nov 18, Monday in Manipal police station alleging some trouble-maker have destroyed the banner of Narendra Modi, which was put in a private place near Manipal polytechnic institute.
On October 15, in conncetion with Narendra Modi’s cut -outs, which was put near Manipal polytechnic bus stand,Ramesh Kanchan and Yatish Karkera from Congress, came to college and had a heated argument with principal and warned him to remove the cut- outs besides being threatened the students to tear the banners.
It was on Nov 17, Sunday afternoon time, those cut –outs have been torned and completely destroyed. The memorandum has been submitted in police station to take action against those who have destroyed the cut-outs.
BJPs Raghavendra Kini, Namo brigade spokes person Shreekantha Shetty, Mahesh Takur and among others Modi supporters were present.
