Udupi; Nov 16: Foundation stone laying ceremony was held near Bannanje Narayanaguru Sabhabhavana on Nov 16, Saturday for the Bannanje-Kadiyaly public usage state highway road concretization, construction of drainage and footpath works
Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge after laying the foundation stone, inaugurated the works of Udupi taluk’s Malpe-Moolakaalmura state highway 65 road, from 3.60 km to 3.90km, from Aadiudupi Kadiyaly stretch’s hard shoulder and duct along with the construction of drainage.
With an estimated cost of Rs 6 lac, the work will be completed within five months, minister Sorake said.
Details of the works:
- On either side of 1925 km of road kabal stone will be used for paving’
- On either side of 1925 km of road, construction of drainage for the smooth flow of rains water during monsoon.
- Duct swill be constructed for the cable and supply of road side passing water.
- On either side of 1925 km of roads, footpaths will be constructed
