Kundapur: Swami Vivekananda’s 150th year’s birthday celebration;’Viveka Samvardhini’ inauguration in Tekkatte

Kundapur; Nov 14: On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda 150th year’s birthday celebration organized by Old student’s association of Sevasangama Vidhya Kendra, Tekkatte, the cultural contest and ‘Viveka Samvardhini’ has been organized for the students of Tekkatte vicinity Primary and high schools on Nov 14,Thursday in Hayagreeva auditorium, Tekkatte.


M.Shivarama Shetty, former president of Tekkatte village panchayat inaugurated the programme.


Thereafter, while speaking he said that without any selfishness and expectation, the work of Vivekananda in infusing the country’s culture, rituals-the ideas in the minds of youths and make them to realize love towards nation is remarkable and supreme.



Today’s students only, tomorrow’s leaders of the nation and follow the path laid down by Vivekananda and adopt his principles in the life, then only meaningful and peaceful society can be built, he opined.



B.L.Upadhyaya, honorary professor’s advisor of Seva Sangama Vidhya Kendra Senior students Sangha said in his speech that Vivekananda was an inspiration for the youth, who inspired them to love their nation and, the man who removed obstacles from Hindu religion and thereby he succeeded in creating unity.



He further said that Vivekananda was great intellect. Only when standard of education is improved, then only our morality will also improve. Courageous people are able to win the world. Strong belief and self confidence should grow in everybody. Only with unity, society can see the prosperity. In this context good education and able leadership is needed.


Today’s students by following Vivekananda’s principle should succeed in their life, he added

Vinaya.S.Pai of Seva Sangama Vidhya Kendra organization, Santhosh Acharya, president of senior student’s sangha and among others were present.


After the stage programme, variety cultural competitions were held for students of primary and high school in the vicinity of Tekkatte.

Divya Nayak, old student of the school compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
