Bantwal, Nov. 12: Demanding to fulfil all the various needs of the workers of Akshara Dasoha (midday meals) the members of CITU staged protest at Taluk Panchayat office B.C. Road.
The protestor demanded to increase the monthly salary to 10,000 from 1,100. Now the govt is paying 1,100 but made wok form us like slaves. And if the govt. gave the authority of akshara dasoha to Iskan then the workers will not get as much the payment that is given by the government now. So the government should leave this plan and the payment should be increased they demanded.
The secretary of CITU Ramanna Vitla,Uday Kumar, revathi, Lolakshi, Vijayalakshmi and others were participated in the protest. The taluk director of midday meal scheme Shrikanth visited the place and received the memorandum from the protester.
