Kundapur; Nov 07: Kundapur Jamiya mosque’s management committee related issue, which was in news for quite some time and created much curiosity, has finally appointed Abdul Razak as president and Imtiaz A.K as secretary in the recently held election.
Kundapur Jamiya mosque’s management committee, which was under dispute for the last several years, has recently announced election following Wak’f board order.
Though some of the people appealed to the high court terming it as illegal, as per the instruction of Wak’f board Jamiya mosque has finally elected 11 members team for the management committee under the supervision of election officer appointed by the Wak’f board.
Even after the winners were declared, there was a tough contest amongst winners for the senior post. Amidst all the turmoil’s, confusions, Abdul Razak has finally been appointed as president, putting all the speculations of winning members to rest. There was a tough fight between Gudde Nazir and Imtiaz A.K for the post of secretary. Finally, Imtiaz A.K was declared as the winner for the post of secretary with the difference of 5-6 votes.
Halekote Nasir as vice president, Altaf Qureshi as cashier have been elected unanimously
