Mangalore, Nov 3: The CID report with regard to the rape and murder of Sowjanya is false. But we are not going to stop our fight. We want CBI probe into the case. We are ready to blood revolution to get justice for Sowjanya warned Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi, Hindu leader and president of Beltangady Democratic Forum.
He was addressing a public rally organized by the Mulky Civic Forum near Lalit Mahal on NH 66 here on Saturday November 2.
He blamed the police for supporting the culprits. From the past 20 years there have been numerous rape and murder case have taken place in Dharmasthala and till now not a single case has solved. However hereafter we will not allow anyone to crush this case. We cannot tolerate this violence anymore. We are with the truth and we know that Annappa Swamy of Dharmasthala is with us and will protect us always,” he added.
Sri Esha Vittaldasa Swamiji of Kemar Sandeepani Ashram said the fight is for justice to Sowjanya and not against any individual or Kshetra.
Sowjanya’s mother Kusumavati said that the real culprits are following them everywhere and are mentally harassing them for seeking justice for Sowjanya. We just want justice. We do not want anyone else to face Sowjanya’s fate. So we need your support and with your support we shall fight it out till the end,” she said.
Civic Forum president Vinod Salian, Sowjanya’s father Chandappa Gowda, Naveen Bappanadu, Umesh Manapady were also present.
