Kundapur; Nov 01: Under the auspices of rotary and Ann’s club on account of Kannada Rajyotsava as a part of professional service monthly celebration veteran professionals of social services have been honored by Neramballi Raghavendra Rao in Koteshwara rotary auditorium on Nov 01, Friday.

At the same time, older in age, still rendering social services- Manjunatha Sherigar, tyre puncture works, tailor Koragappa Shettigar, Land record informant Ramachandra Hatwar, Seetha Mogaveera, fish merchant, Icecandy trader T.Laxman Pai have been honored on behalf of the organization.

 Rotary president Prabhakar.B.Kumbhashi has presided over the function.

 Secretary Ravindra Shetty, zone commander K.R. Naik, career services director Vishwanath Achar, Anne’s club president Deepika Shetty, Secretary Suchitra .S.Nayak were preset.

Addressing the Kannada Rajyotsava celebration in Tekkatte Vishwa Vinayaka English Medium School, John, journalist said in his address that along with the study of culture of our language, retrospect of our history is inevitable.

 In this regard country’s glory required to be understood, said journalist John. Without the knowledge of history, one cannot create history. Our language has its own sweetness and heterogeneity. Efforts of many great souls in the unification of this holy land should be remembered, he opined

 While speaking, Professional T.Manjunatha Prabhu, president of Tekkatte said in his address that how, the way we love our mother, affection towards our language is equally important and should not create an opportunity for conflict. There is an urgent need to make Kannada as our life’s language, he said.
