Kundapur: B.Y.Raghavendra predicts Baindoor railway station becomes one of the largest railways stations in future

Kundapur; Oct 30 :  After reviewing the work progress of Baindoor-Mookambika railway station, which  is being built at the cost of around Rs 16 crore, B.Y.Raghavendra, Shivmoga Loka Sabha member said in his address that in the best interest  and convenience of Mookambika devotees, a memorandum has been forwarded to union railway minister Mallikarjuna Kharge to consider the request of the people to halt Mangalore-Madgaon intercity express train at Baindoor-Mookambika railway station and he has positively responded.

In future, Baindoor-Mookambika railway station will become one of the largest railway stations, he said.

He further said that due to Yediyurappa’s exit from the party, BJP had to suffer humiliating defeat in the Vidhana sabha elections held in the first week of May, this year.However, efforts are being taking place behind the screen to bring him back to party’s fold by the BJP leaders. But Yeddyurappa’s KJP wanted to be the part of NDA.In this regard, there will be confusion amongst the lower rank BJP workers.However, within 15 days time curtain will fall on all these turmoils, he added.

He also said that in the best interest of the country, everybody wishes Narendra Modi to be the prime minister of India. In this regard, Yeddyurappa has written a letter to Advani, announcing his support to Modi, he added.

Responding quickly to issue of Kundapur-Shirur highway’s pathetic condition, he said that filling of ditches and ponds on the highway will be taken place within short period as temporary measure and for the permanent solution of repairing and maintenance of the highway, the discussion will be held with union highways and surface road minister honorable Oscar Fernandez soon. About 150 metre distance Baindoor Car Street will be repaired with the help of grant-in-aid from his department, he promised.

Continuing his speech, he said that multi-village drinking water project, which was approved by the previous government has stopped abruptly due some technical problems. Discussion will be held with legislators and district in charge to complete the same at the earliest possible, he added.
