Buntwal, April 3: A burglary has been reported at Buntwal Sree Mukambika Bhajana Mandir, Brahmakoodlu in the midnight of Tuesday.
Incident has been noticed by the priest of the Mandir, when he came early in the morning to perform daily Pooja.It was suspected that the thief might have converted the small hole which was already in the window panes in to bigger one and entered inside the temple.
It has been reported that total cost of the burgled items including God’s ornaments, Silver, Cash, aureole and other things was estimated to Rs 1.5 Lacs.
A man believed to be from Tamil origin was working nearby and was taken under the custody of police for questioning.
Canine squad, authorities from forensic department and higher police authorities arrived to the spot.
Buntwal City police have registered a case in this regard and investigation is on.
