Hyderabad : Anxious parents in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh are awaiting some word from the US that their son Sarath is safe. The 35-year-old went on a trip to the Niagara with the visiting family of his cousin. On the way back, at Washington DC, the family noticed that Sarath was missing and thought he had missed boarding the bus after a stop for coffee.
But over 30 hours later there is still no word from him or about him. Sarath’s parents have lodged a police complaint and have been told that after 48 hours, a formal complaint would be registered, according to the procedure.
PV Sarath Kumar has been in the US for the last seven years and holds a Green Card. He was working with the TCS and living in Chicago with his wife Manjula who he married two years ago. He is the only son of his parents. The family says Sarath is a soft-natured person and they are worried that cash or some valuables that he may have been carrying could be the reason some harm came upon him. Manjula had not accompanied her husband on this trip. She is in Chicago.
